Stupid Clothing Review

Stupid is, as Stupid does!

The brand name of ‘Stupid’ may be a bit marmite but I do understand the irony of not taking yourself too seriously that is the ethos behind this small independent brand.

Brand name aside, their range of snowboarder threads are top class with relevant designs and superb quality.

MENS STUPID BURGUNDY RIDING SHIRT

I totally love this shirt and have worn it on my last 3 snowboarding trips.  The chequered pattern of mixed red and blue gives it a real street and skate vibe, without making it look like a cheap, tacky lumberjack shirt like so many other brands.

The material is thick but soft on touch, with a quilted lining for insulation.  It is very warm and ideal to wear as a mid layer in colder conditions or by itself without a jacket in warmer spring conditions.

It fits really well and is not too baggy or tight.  The Burgundy Riding Shirt also boasts of padded elbows (a tad extra protection for jibbing!), side peppered air vents for those sweaty spring runs and an inside piste map pocket.

MENS STUPID WHITE FESTIVAL T SHIRT

Again, as with the shirt, this T is good quality and is made with a thick grade of cotton and is soft on skin.  It has a simplistic black and white colour scheme with a complex festival style pattern complete with an 1980’s style Boombox.  This really does look good with the Burgundy Riding Shirt mentioned above.

Overall, I think Stupid is a promising UK brand with great designs and quality products.  With their edgy but fun concepts, Stupid is becoming well established on the grassroots ski and snowboard scene.
