Although there is much evidence to support the fact that the old statistic of 50% of heat lost through the body is not true, I know from personal experience that wearing a hat in very cold weather makes an enormous difference to how warm you feel inside.

Like gloves, socks are an essential piece of ski clothing, especially when the weather is colder than normal. Good ski socks are a great investment for a more enjoyable experience on the snow. Not only do they keep your feet warm but they also make wearing ski boots more comfortable.
