The Beach Boys in Ischgl

Good Vibrations in Ischgl as the Beach Boys come to town

There is good vibrations in Ischgl this winter with the Beach Boys launching the 2015/16 ski season with a concert on 28th November.

The Beach Boys are the latest act in a who’s who of the pop world to star at the famous Ischgl Opening (and Closing) concerts over the years, with a portfolio that includes James Blunt, Robbie Williams, Elton John, Kylie Minogue and Katy Perry.

The concert will be in the main town of Ischgl and will be 2 days after the ski season officially kicks off in the Austrian resort.  Entry is free with a valid liftpass and Day passes will be available for Euro 65 and for those staying in Ischgl, and therefore receiving a guest card, there will be two-day passes for Euro 90.50 and three-day passes for Euro 118.

This was a late announcement because Supertramp were to due to star but had to cancel their European tour, which included Ischgl, due to the cancer treatment of band member Rick Davies.

Last year, Snow.Guide was fortunate enough to be invited to the James Blunt Ischgl opening concert and know what an amazing event it will be against the awe inspiring backdrop of the Silvretta Mountain range in the Alps.  Ischgl is fantastic for early season skiing or snowboarding, with the world famous Aprés Ski a must to experience at least once in your life!

The Beach Boys hardly need introducing, but just in case you have lived on the moon for the last half a century, their repertoire includes hits such as Good Vibrations, I Get Around and Surfin’ USA.
