Ski Touring with EVOC backpack

EVOC FR Guide Backpack 30L Review

EVOC backpack FR Guide

This highly technical ski touring backpack comes with a removable built in back protector, that’s both light and very strong.

It’s a great all-round pack for any off-piste skier or snowboarder who requires a full load of safety kit plus enough for an overnight stay or two.

There’s several compartments and easy entry sections that allow very fast access to a shovel and probe in an emergency situation.

It feels really comfortable to wear – I’ve used it all day long on ski tours and when travelling, it doesn’t rub or feel a burden. The 210/D PU coated Nylon ripstop fabric is very strong and very light too and the adjustable shoulder straps and substantial hip belt make personal tweaking easy.

There’s some neat little pockets too, with a couple of inner zips to keep those handy smaller items safe. There’s a bunch of extras that you’d expect on a pack like this, but all manufactured and presented in a highly sophisticated way.

Without a doubt it’s one of the best packs I’ve ever used and I’m very impressed with the quality and the design.
